HB 1101 extends the enrollment period for newborns under employer-sponsored health benefit plans from 32 days to 60 days after birth. The change applies to small and large employer health plans as well as multiple employer welfare arrangements, with new rules effective for plans issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2026.
