HB 2053 directs the Texas Education Agency to develop and maintain a database containing detailed information on school district bonds, taxes, and bond-related projects. The database will include information such as bond ballot language, tax rates associated with proposed bonds, election results, lists of funded projects, and accounting for the use of bond proceeds. School districts will be required to supply the agency with necessary data. The database will feature tools for generating reports and proposing updates.
