HB 2995 expands the availability of medication for respiratory distress in public and private schools. It allows the Texas Department of State Health Services to issue a statewide standing order for schools to obtain and administer the medication. The bill also permits school districts, charter schools, and private schools to contract with vendors for the purchase of medication and training of school personnel.
