HB 3137 prohibits the sale, distribution, and application of specific herbicides, including chloropropham, glyphosate, and dicamba. It also bans the sale of food and beverages containing certain additives, including aspartame, artificial flavoring, monosodium glutamate (MSG), and sodium nitrate. Violators are subject to a civil penalty of up to $500 per violation, with enforcement by the Texas Attorney General​.
