HB 3739 requires public schools to provide fetal development instruction to students in grades 7 through 12 as part of the health curriculum. The instruction must include information on fetal growth at each stage of pregnancy, descriptions of abortion procedures, the effects of substance use on pregnancy, and resources for carrying a pregnancy to term, including those provided by faith-based organizations​.
