HB 4342 expands the admissibility of hearsay evidence in sexual or assaultive offenses committed against children or persons with disabilities. It allows statements describing the alleged offense or other misconduct by the defendant to be used in court if made to the first adult (other than the defendant) to whom the victim reported the crime​.
