HB 4468 prohibits current and former members of the Texas Legislature from accepting compensation or employment related to bond services if they were involved in financial advising, bond counsel, bond underwriting, or other professional services related to bond issuance while serving in the Legislature. The restriction applies for ten years following the issuance of the bonds or the individual's departure from the Legislature. A violation of this prohibition is classified as a Class A misdemeanor​.
