HB 5133 expands the definition of accredited certifying entities for behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts in Texas. It allows the state to recognize credentials issued not only by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board but also by the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board or any other nationally accredited entity approved by the Department of Licensing and Regulation. The bill ensures that Texas maintains multiple pathways for credentialing behavior analysts.
