HB 5321 provides employment leave protections for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. It prohibits employers from discriminating or retaliating against employees who take leave to obtain protective orders, seek medical treatment, or attend court proceedings. Employers must also provide reasonable accommodations, such as modified work schedules or workplace safety measures, to affected employees​.
