Digest
HB 5613 modifies electioneering restrictions near polling places. It clarifies that electioneering is only prohibited within 100 feet of a polling place entrance, preventing local governments from banning electioneering outside of that zone. It also strengthens penalties for unauthorized election-related signage within the 100-foot buffer zone and clarifies that election officers cannot post unapproved election-related material at polling places.
