HB 901 limits the taxpayer-funded salaries of state officers and employees, as well as officers and employees of political subdivisions, to the salary amount set for the governor by the biennial appropriations act. The limitation applies only to salary agreements or employment contracts entered into on or after the law’s effective date of September 1, 2025.
