Since its incorporation in 1985, Trophy Club has emphasized American traditions, including the annual raising of the U.S. flag at key locations, the establishment of Veterans Memorial Park, and civic events such as Medal of Honor motorcades and Patriot Day ceremonies. The town also features parks and public spaces with names reflecting liberty and unity, such as Independence Park and Freedom Dog Park. This designation remains in effect for ten years from the date of passage​.
