SB 1125 creates the criminal offense of "criminal pursuit," which targets individuals who follow potential victims from businesses or financial institutions with the intent to commit robbery, burglary of a vehicle, or theft. To be charged, the suspect must be a known gang member and possess at least two criminal instruments. The offense is classified as a third-degree felony​.
