SB 2184 lowers the minimum age requirement for obtaining a pyrotechnic operator’s license or a public fireworks display permit from 21 years old to 18 years old. This change applies to individuals applying for licenses under Subchapter D, Chapter 2154 of the Texas Occupations Code​.
