SB 2467 directs the Texas School Safety Center to conduct a study on emergency response maps used by schools and first responders. The study will review the quality, accuracy, and consistency of maps provided to law enforcement, assess costs associated with creating these maps, and recommend improvements. The findings must be submitted by September 1, 2026.
