SB 2481 limits the number of extensions a property owner, lienholder, or mortgagee may receive to comply with a municipal order for repairing or demolishing a substandard building in large cities. It allows only two 90-day extensions, requiring the first to be granted in good faith and the second to be based on demonstrated hardship. The bill applies to municipalities with populations of two million or more.
