SB 2511 amends the Education Code to allow local broadcasters who regularly cover University Interscholastic League (UIL) member schools to broadcast postseason activities despite any exclusive agreements the UIL has with private entities. It provides conditions for local broadcasters to qualify and permits UIL to require reasonable fees and professional standards for such coverage.
