SB 2604 requires sellers of residential lots five acres or smaller in certain border counties to disclose whether the property has access to water service. The disclosure must be provided in English and Spanish and printed in 14-point boldface type. If the seller fails to provide the notice, the buyer has the right to cancel the contract within seven days or before the property transfer occurs.
