SB 2641 transfers the management of the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum from West Texas A&M University to the Texas Historical Commission. It creates a dedicated museum fund to support operations, renovations, and acquisitions. Employees exclusively assigned to the museum will transition to the Commission’s employment​.
