SB 2656 integrates nursing school applications into the Texas Medical and Dental Schools Application Service or a similar centralized platform. It mandates that any existing consolidated application service for medical and dental schools must also include nursing school applications. This requirement applies to applications for the Fall 2026 semester and beyond​.
