SB 2768, called the "Health Freedom for Texans Act," repeals or modifies various health care restrictions, expands access to reproductive health care, and mandates insurance coverage for abortion, contraception, and sterilization. It broadens Medicaid eligibility and extends postpartum Medicaid coverage to 24 months. Additionally, it establishes an online portal for reproductive rights resources and repeals certain regulatory barriers related to reproductive health services​.
