SB 2827 establishes the Texas Quantum Initiative to position the state as a leader in quantum computing, networking, and sensing technologies. The initiative will be administratively attached to the Governor’s Office and guided by an executive committee, which will oversee strategic planning, workforce development, and funding for quantum research and manufacturing​.
