SB 2923 amends the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code to allow nonresident sellers who own distilleries outside of Texas and hold a distiller’s and rectifier’s permit to enter into agreements with in-state distilleries. These agreements would permit nonresident sellers to engage in activities such as manufacturing, rectifying, bottling, and selling distilled spirits within the state. The bill aims to facilitate collaboration between out-of-state producers and Texas-based distilleries.
