SB 2977 mandates that hospitals disclose their pediatric care capabilities to the public. Hospitals must state whether they are classified as pediatric facilities and whether they provide emergency medical care for children. The disclosure must be made verbally when reasonable, on the hospital's website, in printed materials, and during emergency registration or check-in.
