SB 830 increases the monetary threshold for municipal contracts requiring competitive bidding or procurement processes from $50,000 to $100,000. It also adjusts the range for expenditures subject to contacting historically underutilized businesses from $3,000 to $100,000. The changes apply to purchases made on or after September 1, 2025.
