HB 124 repeals Chapter 403, Subchapter T of the Government Code (created by H.B. 5, 88th Legislature), eliminating the new property tax incentive program for businesses. It redirects all associated funds to the Texas Education Agency to lower the school district M&O property tax rate (state compression percentage).
