SB 24 mandates all counties adopt standardized fee schedules for court-appointed attorneys ad litem in parental rights cases. It gives attorneys appeal rights if denied payment and allows removal of attorneys who submit fraudulent claims. It prohibits courts from charging the state or political subdivisions for these services unless authorized.
