Born May 19, 1982, Rep. Harrison served as Chief of Staff of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services during the Trump administration under Secretary Alex Azar, overseeing a staff of more than 80,000 employees and a budget exceeding $1.4 trillion. In that role he helped coordinate the federal response to the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic and the launch of Operation Warp Speed. Earlier in his federal career, he held positions at the Department of Defense, the Social Security Administration, and the Office of the Vice President during the George W. Bush administration.
