Rep. Pat Curry is a lifelong entrepreneur from Waco who was first elected to the Texas House of Representatives in a November 2024 special election to succeed Rep. Charles “Doc” Anderson, and sworn into office on November 18, 2024.

A Waco native, Rep. Curry earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University at College Station. He owns and operates PJC Investments LLC, a holding company whose portfolio includes Rabroker Air Conditioning & Plumbing, Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid Centers, multiple Urban Air Adventure Park franchises, and Caprock Calcium, a mining and manufacturing operation.

Rep. Curry has identified school choice, water resource diversification, property tax reduction, and protecting McLennan County’s water supply at Lake Waco as his core legislative priorities.

Rep. Curry has been involved with the Miracle-Ear Foundation, Easter Seals, March of Dimes, Goodfellas, and the Providence (Ascension) Hospital Foundation. He describes his run for office as “a calling from God” and has emphasized his pro-life convictions, support for the Second Amendment, and a limited-government philosophy throughout his time as a candidate and now as a state representative.
