HB 88 expands retroactive child support authority to allow courts to order support beginning at the child’s conception, based on medical or other evidence. It also permits additional retroactive payments for prenatal and postnatal care and mandates that a cumulative judgment be entered for the total amount owed. It amends provisions for paternity cases to ensure courts consider retroactive support in more circumstances.
