HB 92 eliminates various state-required student assessments not mandated by federal law. It removes social studies and U.S. history from testing requirements and reduces required end-of-course exams to only those strictly needed under federal law. It also ensures that Texas law will automatically align with any future federal reductions in standardized testing requirements.
