HB 93 expands the jurisdiction of the County Court at Law in Atascosa County to include civil cases up to $1 million in controversy, in addition to its existing jurisdiction over misdemeanors, family law, juvenile, and probate matters. It also provides that the court’s judge may be assigned to district courts in the county and updates judicial salary language to match general statutory requirements.
