Digest
HB 157 permits certain regional transportation authorities to allow up to 25% of their sales tax revenue to be used for local general mobility projects (e.g., roads, sidewalks, drainage). It also reduces the amount of sales tax revenue that may be pledged for bond repayment from 100% to 75% and imposes restrictions on borrowing during a withdrawal election.
