HB 1051 amends the Insurance Code to ensure health benefit plans provide equal coverage for telemedicine, teledentistry, and telehealth services delivered via synchronous or asynchronous audio platforms, on par with in-person consultations. It also prohibits discrimination in coverage based on the platform chosen for delivering such services.
