HB 1085 requires the development of a "lifetime recreation and outdoor pursuits" course to satisfy high school physical education requirements. The curriculum, created in collaboration with the Parks and Wildlife Department, must include a hunter education component and can be offered by school districts starting in the 2025-2026 school year.
