HB 1723 proposes repealing Section 21.046(e) of the Texas Property Code, which pertains to the eligibility of certain persons for relocation assistance from the state or a political subdivision. The repeal will apply to moves or discontinuations resulting from state or political subdivision actions taken on or after the Act’s effective date. Actions taken before the effective date will continue to be governed by the existing law.
