HB 1874 expands the scope of work authorized for master electricians in Texas. It allows them to perform all electrical and electrical design work, including tasks traditionally performed by master sign electricians. Additionally, it authorizes them to supervise electricians, verify compliance with training requirements for various electrician licenses, and serve as a master of record for electrical sign contractors.
