HB 1895 requires entities intending to operate or expand wind-powered generation facilities to demonstrate compliance with federal aviation and military impact assessments. Operators must obtain determinations from the Federal Aviation Administration and the Military Aviation and Installation Assurance Siting Clearinghouse that the facilities will not adversely affect air navigation or military operations. The act authorizes penalties for violations and applies to facilities installed on or after September 1, 2025.
