HB 1931 removes the cap limiting the superintendent’s salary at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired to 120% of the highest-paid instructional administrator at the school. It allows the board to determine the superintendent's salary annually without the current restriction. The act applies to contracts entered into or renewed on or after September 1, 2025.
