HB 2206 requires school district superintendents and administrators to report certain instances of educator misconduct to local law enforcement within 48 hours of becoming aware of the allegations. Failure to comply with this reporting requirement can result in administrative penalties or criminal charges, including a state jail felony for intentional concealment​.
