HB 2277 proposes requiring electric cooperatives to notify municipalities when they request the transfer or removal of certain pole attachments. Specifically, it mandates that within ten days of notifying a cable operator about the installation of a new pole, the cooperative must also inform the municipality where the pole is located. Similarly, within ten days of requesting a cable operator to remove an attachment from a pole, the cooperative must notify the municipality of the removal request.
