HB 2364 lowers the population threshold for counties to construct, enlarge, equip, and operate parking lots or garages near courthouses. Under current law, only counties with 150,000 or more residents have this authority. The bill reduces the threshold to 40,000 residents, allowing more counties to develop courthouse-adjacent parking facilities​.
