HB 2435 revises the Education Code to increase the basic allotment for school funding under the Foundation School Program from $6,160 to $8,947 per student in average daily attendance. It also establishes an annual inflation adjustment based on the Consumer Price Index to ensure that school funding keeps pace with economic changes. Additionally, it modifies the guaranteed yield formula to reflect these changes​.
