HB 2456 establishes new flag display regulations for public schools in Texas. It requires all public schools and educational institutions under the Texas Education Code to fly the United States and Texas flags on all regular school days. Schools may also display the flags of the United States Armed Forces and their own official school flag but are prohibited from flying any other flags. The law applies starting with the 2025-2026 school year.
