HB 2476 creates a state-funded grant program to provide living expense assistance for students who are homeless or minors who have had their disabilities of minority removed. The Texas Comptroller will administer the program, which will cover housing, food, and other living expenses for eligible students enrolled in public institutions of higher education. The program will begin in the 2026-2027 academic year.
