HB 2562 limits the salaries of school district superintendents and charter school chief executive officers (CEOs). It prohibits these officials from earning more than twice the highest salary paid to a classroom teacher in the same district or school. The bill also requires charter schools to publicly post their CEO’s salary on their website. These restrictions apply to contracts signed on or after September 1, 2025.
