Digest
HB 2737 allows counties with populations between 56,250 and 57,800 to regulate land developments that use manufactured homes or motor vehicles for long-term residences. The bill requires landowners in these counties to prepare a subdivision plat before dividing land for rental or leasing of residential spaces. It also authorizes county commissioners to adopt minimum infrastructure standards for manufactured home rental communities, including lot size, road width, and ingress/egress access requirements. These regulations apply only to new developments starting on or after September 1, 2025.
