HB 2750 bans health benefit plan issuers that own or have a financial interest in a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) from requiring enrollees to use that PBM for prescription drugs. This restriction applies to insurance companies, health maintenance organizations, nonprofit health corporations, and multiple employer welfare arrangements. The bill applies to plans issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2026.
