HB 2903 requires landlords to provide written acknowledgment of a tenant's request for repairs that affect the tenant’s physical health or safety. This acknowledgment must be sent within two business days and include a statement of tenant rights and remedies. If the repair concerns a common area, the landlord must notify all tenants with access to that space. Tenants can seek legal remedies if the landlord fails to comply.
