Digest
HB 2972 expands the list of medical conditions eligible for low-THC cannabis prescriptions. It adds menstrual cramps, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, dysmenorrhea, and any condition approved under a state-sanctioned research program to the existing list, which includes epilepsy, cancer, PTSD, and other conditions. Physicians prescribing low-THC cannabis must certify that the benefits outweigh the risks for the patient.
